Arva Appliances was operated by Wilf Hudson and family up until August of 2002 when the reigns were handed over to Bill Stewart and his family. Bill, who came from the appliance repair side of the industry after 20 years of running his own parts and service business has taken Arva Appliances to new heights. Bill has expanded the showroom and now proudly displays over 20 brands of Major Appliances.
Due to the recent growth in the company, we have expanded our warehouse location next door to the main store. The building consists of 8,000 square feet of warehouse storage space and houses the service dept. and main parts warehouse. The demand for deep discounted products also led to our opening of a second retail store at the warehouse location. The new store was branded as APPLIAN$MART, to reflect the different brands available at this location. APPLIAN$MART is a Factory Clearance Centre for major manufacturer’s to clear out old models, scratch n’ dents, and uncrated units.
